Job Title: API Developer
Our company is seeking an experienced API developer to join our team. As an API developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing APIs that enable seamless communication between different software applications. You will work closely with our project managers, architects, and other developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality APIs that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain APIs that enable seamless communication between different software applications
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other developers to ensure timely delivery of projects
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Troubleshoot and debug APIs
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize API development efficiency
Ensure APIs meet the requirements of clients and end-users
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Proven experience as an API developer, with a portfolio of developed APIs
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
Experience with API development frameworks such as REST, SOAP, or GraphQL
Familiarity with API security standards such as OAuth, JWT, or SSL/TLS
Knowledge of API development best practices, design patterns, and software architecture principles
Experience with Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
