Today is the last day of the DLD 2016 Innovation Festival which took place from September 24 to September 29 in the historic train station compound known as HaTachana. The festival has definitely lived up to our expectations, lively atmosphere and a vibrant mix of Israeli startup community and international crowd of VS managers, entrepreneurs and techies made the magic happen. An inevitable boredom of keynote speeches and tech presentations has easily disappeared in otherwise geeky yet joyous and relaxed atmosphere of a true techie festival. Program-wise the festival covered all latest trends: transition from monolithic to distributed computing infrastructure, microservices and DevOps, IoT, virtual reality (VR), 3d printing and, of course, cyber security; the latter being the star of the show presented by top Israeli cyber commando warriors.
