Token Security, from Tel Aviv, Israel, has officially launched its machine-first identity security platform and announced $7 million in Seed funding led by TLV Partners, with participation from SNR and several angel investors, including cybersecurity pioneer Shlomo Kramer.
As organizations grapple with the exponential growth of machine identities, Token Security addresses the security risks posed by traditional human-centric identity management solutions. The company’s platform offers visibility and continuous threat exposure management tailored to modern cloud and microservice architectures.
Token Security’s platform integrates with major infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Snowflake, as well as leading identity providers and source code repositories. It prioritizes critical identities and their vulnerabilities, facilitating risk reduction and remediation without disrupting developer workflows.
Co-founded by CEO Itamar Apelblat and CTO Ido Shlomo, both veterans of the Israeli Intelligence Corps Unit 8200, Token Security aims to transform identity security by focusing on machine identities.
