Writer, a leading full-stack generative AI platform for enterprises, has raised $200 million in Series C funding, achieving a valuation of $1.9 billion. This round was co-led by Premji Invest, Radical Ventures, and ICONIQ Growth, with significant participation from Salesforce Ventures, Adobe Ventures, B Capital, Citi Ventures, IBM Ventures, and Workday Ventures. Existing backers Accenture, Balderton, Insight Partners, and Vanguard also reinforced their commitment. Premji Invest’s Sandesh Patnam and Radical Ventures’ Rob Toews will join Writer’s board, underlining their confidence in the company’s trajectory.
The funding will bolster Writer’s position as a leader in enterprise generative AI and accelerate the development of agentic AI tailored to complex business environments. CEO May Habib emphasized that Writer’s solutions go beyond task execution, delivering transformative AI systems that drive unprecedented ROI for major enterprises. Fortune 500 companies, including Mars, Ally Bank, Salesforce, and Uber, have adopted Writer’s platform to streamline workflows and achieve significant productivity gains.
