Canva, the all-in-one visual communication platform, has introduced a powerful set of new tools, including Dream Lab, a generative AI feature powered by Leonardo.Ai, and substantial upgrades to its Visual Suite. These enhancements aim to reshape workplace collaboration and creative content generation. With these innovations, Canva’s global reach continues to soar, surpassing 200 million monthly active users and achieving an annualized revenue of $2.5 billion.
The launch of Dream Lab marks a significant step in generative AI capabilities. This tool allows users to create visual assets from simple text prompts, offering precision across styles such as 3D renders, illustrations, and photorealistic images. As part of Canva’s commitment to responsible AI use, Dream Lab is integrated with Canva Shield to ensure trust and safety. The upgraded Visual Suite includes AI-powered whiteboards, enhanced Magic Write, interactive charts, polls, and quizzes, fostering more dynamic collaboration.
Canva also expands its 100-million-content library through partnerships with Artlist and pocstock, providing users access to premium multimedia assets and inclusive stock photography. Additionally, the introduction of new Work Kits offers tailored templates for small businesses, teachers, and students, helping streamline workflows across diverse sectors. With industry leaders like the NYSE, Atlassian, and DHL Express adopting Canva Enterprise, the platform is solidifying its place in workplaces around the globe.
With more than 30 billion designs created to date and over 10 billion uses of Canva’s AI tools, the company’s growth shows no signs of slowing. As CEO Melanie Perkins noted, Canva remains focused on empowering people everywhere to bring their ideas to life, with the belief that they are still at the beginning of their journey toward transforming visual communication.
