Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst
Our company is seeking an experienced cybersecurity analyst to join our team. As a cybersecurity analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, preventing, and responding to security threats to protect our company’s information systems and data. You will work closely with our IT and security teams to ensure our systems and data remain secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze network traffic and security logs to identify and respond to security incidents
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement security measures and protocols
Maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Conduct security awareness training for employees and stakeholders
Investigate security incidents and prepare incident response reports
Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, technologies, and regulations
Participate in security audits and compliance assessments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Proven experience as a cybersecurity analyst, with a portfolio of completed projects
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, protocols, and technologies
Experience with security monitoring tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
Knowledge of security regulations such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM are preferred
