Intel has been awarded up to $3 billion in direct funding by the Biden-Harris Administration under the CHIPS and Science Act for its Secure Enclave program. This initiative strengthens Intel’s role in trusted manufacturing for the U.S. government by securing domestic semiconductor supply chains. It builds on previous collaborations with the Department of Defense (DoD), such as the SHIP and RAMP-C programs, which focus on advanced semiconductor technologies for defense applications. Intel’s leadership in chip design and manufacturing continues to grow, with its advanced 18A technology set for production in 2025. This award highlights Intel’s commitment to U.S. national security and technological resilience through cutting-edge microelectronics solutions.
