Introducing the NETGEAR Nighthawk Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6E System: Exceptional Range and Performance for the Modern Home

September 13, 2023 By admin Leave a Comment

NETGEAR®, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTGR) has unveiled the Nighthawk Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6E System (MK93S), a cutting-edge mesh WiFi solution designed to enhance connectivity and performance. This system, which comprises a router and two satellites, offers a remarkable 50% improvement in WiFi performance compared to its predecessor, delivering faster speeds of up to 5.7Gbps thanks to its potent quad-core 1.7GHz processor and innovative WiFi 6E tri-band technology. This results in reduced congestion, minimal latency, and increased bandwidth.

With support for up to 100 devices, the MK93S ensures ample bandwidth for various activities, including connecting smart home devices, streaming 4K/8K content, conducting Zoom calls, monitoring security cameras, and online gaming simultaneously. Its compact and stylish design allows placement anywhere in your home, eradicating dead zones and providing robust WiFi coverage, reaching up to 7,500 square feet. The system’s patented antennas amplify signals for consistent, high-quality coverage.

In today’s world of growing WiFi demands, the MK93S addresses the need for fast and reliable connectivity. It features a new 2.5Gig Internet port, enabling users to leverage ultra-fast internet speeds (up to 2.5Gbps) and includes seven Ethernet ports for wired connections to gaming consoles and IoT gateways.

Customization is a central feature of the MK93S, offering the ability to create unique WiFi networks on the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. The system’s dedicated 2.4GHz radio enhances performance and range for IoT devices, separating them from high-speed traffic for smoother operation. Dynamic QoS automatically prioritizes internet traffic by application and device, ensuring seamless streaming for devices that require it.

David Henry, President & GM of Connected Home Products and Services at NETGEAR, emphasized the importance of mesh router systems like the Nighthawk Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6E in fully capitalizing on high-speed internet services.

Key Technical Specifications:

Blazing Speeds: Offers wireless speeds of up to 5.7Gbps for smooth Ultra HD 4K streaming.
WiFi 6E Technology: Provides 50% faster speeds and double the device capacity compared to the previous WiFi 6 version, with the new 6GHz band for greater speed, ultra-low latency, and more bandwidth.
Tri-band WiFi: NETGEAR’s Tri-band technology supports up to 100 connected devices, catering to streaming, gaming, and smart home needs, with the option to dedicate a 2.4GHz WiFi connection exclusively for IoT devices.
Robust Processing: Features a powerful quad-core processor for enhanced network performance.
Extensive Wired Connectivity: Equipped with seven Ethernet ports for gaming consoles, IoT gateways, and the ability to boost wired speeds up to 2Gbps by linking two LAN ports.
Multi-Gig Internet: Supports up to 2.5Gbps Internet speed via a dedicated port for demanding tech products.
User-Friendly Setup: Simple installation and customization via the Nighthawk app, enabling users to enjoy their new Nighthawk Mesh WiFi within minutes.
