Logitech G used its PLAY 2026 event to launch 15 new products across competitive gaming, streaming and sim racing. The one creators will care about most is the Yeti 2, a full redesign of the USB microphone that became the default first mic for a generation of streamers and podcasters.
Yeti 2: the mic adjusts itself
The new Yeti has a 3D proximity sensor that tracks how far the speaker is from the capsule and adjusts gain and EQ on the fly. Lean in and the level doesn’t spike. Sit back and it doesn’t fade. AI noise suppression handles keyboard clatter and room noise. A color LED screen with an on-screen guide replaces guesswork about settings. Blue VO!CE voice profiles and G HUB integration carry over.
For creators, the Yeti 2 targets the most common amateur audio problem: levels that change every time you move.
Streaming software
Two software updates are aimed at creators too. The Streamlabs mobile app has been rebuilt. It adds Network Boost, which combines cellular and Wi-Fi for steadier mobile streams, plus SRT support for professional-grade video transport. G HUB Replay is a free tool that records gameplay automatically and uses AI to find and cut highlights, ready for short-form clips.
PRO series and the rest
For competitive players there’s the PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE mouse, with 50% better power efficiency and Logitech’s HITS technology, and the PRO X2 RAPID keyboard, with magnetic switches, Rapid Trigger and an OLED panel for live tuning. The PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED headset has a 48 kHz studio-grade mic, and the PRO X Control mousepad measures 400 x 460 mm.
Budget and style updates include the compact G316 X 75 keyboard, themed G-KEYCAPS sets, Lilac versions of the G305 X SUPERLIGHT and G316, a firmware update that takes the G502 X PLUS to 44,000 DPI, and a Mars Red ASTRO A50 X. Sim racers get RS Pedals SE with Hall-effect sensors, a standalone G923 wheel and an RS50 McLaren Racing Edition with an 8 Nm direct-drive base in papaya orange.
